Craft Fair!

Sorry, my computer is not allowing me to upload any pics tonight - I <3 dial up!

Today was my VERY FIRST Craft Fair and I was thrilled with how many people said "You do beautiful work"! Yay! It was definitely a SMALL Craft Fair... only about 10 tables total in the local Fire Station ... but I had a pretty good day!

Biggest sellers - Bookmarks, Nugget Tins & Stationary Kits.

I have a bunch of potential customers and possibly a 4H group interested in my help with their scrapbooks AND I got an order :) Lots of business cards were passed out, unsure if I'll get any calls but a bunch of people said they were interested in doing a party.

How exciting!

Taking a break this weekend from Stampin. I feel like I have stamped NON STOP for 2 weeks... everynight after work, all weekend every weekend... but I am SO looking forward to doing another one... so if you hear of anything.... :) LET ME KNOW!

Under Construction!

Hello Everyone. I'll be MIA for a little while... we are having awful Satelite service right now (internet) due to the rain, we may switch back to dial up (gag me!) but its just as fast but 70.00 cheaper a month! (Satellite = robbery!)

What did I mean by "Under Construction"? Well, Mike just informed me that I am moving my stamp room BACK downstairs.. ut oh, no more hiding my messes!

I'll be back as soon as my "new room" is finished... with updated pictures Etc!

Oh, I am on vacation next week too! WOO! Lucky me :)

Sympathy Card...

Hello Everyone!

This stamp set will be available on October 1st. I am in Lynn's swap - and I chose this set for the cards I'll be giving to her. I don't want to share my card just yet (not until everyone in the swap sees it!) so I thought I would share this one with you instead!

Dear friends of mine recently lost their Dog, Sam. Unsure if any of your have heard the J&J Discount commercials on the radio but I spent many many years with Sam while working there in my teens... I think the card came out nice !

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, Mike still has not passed his Kidney Stone so its been a really LONG week... and if he doesn't pass it by Monday we have to call the Urologist.

Lots and Lots of Ribbon!

Finally, the ribbon has been cut and sorted.... this was not an easy task... but it was so much fun to play with all the new Ribbon!!

Baja breeze is definitely my NEW favorite color :) The new In Colors are growing on me! The paper used on the diaper bags above is called Green Tea and its by far my NEW favorite Designer Paper :)

Jewelry Boxes

Pics from my Stamp Room

My stamp room is currently a work in progress... its a good sized room but the ceiling is slanted so it makes it really hard to put in shelving etc. Here is a corner of the room I am working on now... my workspace!

My Ink Pads don't normally go in that drawer thing... long story short... my ink pad holder is under construction :) or... being honest? ... I couldnt get the thing unscrewed to add the additional pieces to mine... so Mike needs to help me with that later!

See the pink picture frame in the TOP photo? That was created with our new Decor Elements :) A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E, SO many possibilities with those things!

Yikes!

I have been a really bad blogger lately... and I am sorry!! Here is a project we did at my club meeting on Tuesday night, the other 2 projects are MIA... I searched EVERYWHERE for them... so I'll have to make up a few more samples and show you at a later time.

They are made from the long Kraft envelopes, folded in half :) Aren't they adorable? We tested out a gift card and they fit just perfect inside.

Have I mentioned that my husband is WONDERFUL? Guess what he bought me for my birthday? :) I LOVE IT!

If you do not own one of these, I highly recommend that you get one :) It's called a Scor-Pal. Mike bought mine from Amazon.com w/free shipping!

This is our little one Allie, she likes to sit RIGHT on my desk, right in front of me while I am stamping .... she loves the attention... can you tell??? :)

I hope to get a lot of stamping done this weekend but we have a lot going on!

Home Decor

So, I really just wanted to show you guys how cute these things COULD be :) my wall... isn't very decorated yet but picture a white wood frame around this .... its going to look ADORABLE! :) My box delivered at 7:30, It was on my wall by 9 and I have to tell you... they are SO EASY to apply!!!! :)

I love decorating my house so... get ready to see some more of these soon ;)

New Desk!

So... I have been waiting a week and its finally here!!! Actually, I tracked it yesterday and the Target website said it wouldn't be here until Thursday... tonight we pull in the driveway and UPS is here... he forgets to leave my small package (from Stampin' up, which is fine, as long as I get it tomorrow (just one item for me!)) ... instead he delivers my desk and I love it :) lets just hope I can keep it this clean! :)

Now...if only I could re-organize the rest of the room to make it look nice ;) That may have to wait until my July vacation :)

Sorry for the lack of posts! I'll try and be better. I had a really cute card I made for Gary for Father's Day that held two of those really big $20.00 scratch tickets... yes, I made a card around 2 scratch tickets... pathetic, I know :) It was worth it though! Only problem is ... I save it to my cameras memory and not the memory card... and I have no idea how to get it ON the card to put it ON my computer ;) Mike's trying to figure it out!

We Bought a Jeep!

So, we've been wanting to trade in our Truck for another 4 wheel drive vehicle (that isn't a stick shift!) and look what we bought today :) hehe Isn't it cute? Its really a tiny Jeep!

Anyway, thought I would share... this better be a nice car - we drove to Concord to get it at 9:30 this morning and didn't get home until 4:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Urgh, if I didn't love it so much I may be upset that I wasted a Saturday!

Off to stamp some Mother's Day gifts!

Spring Fling

A few weeks ago I attended Spring Fling, it is an awesome day filled with lots of stamping and great ideas!

Quick Post

Here is a card that we did a few Club Meetings ago, I love it! I usually am not a huge fan of ORANGE but... but I loved how this went so well with the designer paper we used :)

I am planning a class for May (or at this rate, probably June) where we'll use a Simply Scrappin' kit to create 24 cards and this cute little bag (with lots of pieces left over for a couple scrapbook pages or even a few more cards!). You'll get a roll of ribbon and the kit with everything all planned out! The cost will be $30.00 and I'll supply all the snacks etc.

Anyway, let me know if you're interested.... I am on vacation next week so I'll put a little more effort into my posts then :)
